Andrei Mariev was born in Kokhma, Ivanovo region, Russia in January, 1971.
His official sporting status is candidate
to master of sports. Mariev has been climbing mountains since 1988.
He conquered the Korzhenevskoy peak (7,105m) and twice summited the Kommunizma
peak (7,495m). He is an excellent rock-climber. He graduated from an artistic
school. He is the only one among us who has the ability to paint. |
