Departure from Islamabad to Bunardas village - 450 km from Islamabad. The path to the base camp starts from here

Trekking with the caravan from Diamarey village via Diamir Gorge to the base camp

Dusharin, Buhler, Mariev and Dosaev set up the camp for the summit attempt at 7.400m

The group comprised of Carlos Buhler, Ivan Dusharin, Andrei Mariev summited Nanga Parbat (8.125m). Alexander Dosaev refused to summit because of a sore throat. For the first time both Russians and Americans set foot at Nanga Parbat

July 14

Andrei Volkov and Victor Kolesnichenko started their summit attempt

July 15

A soggy avalanche went through the 1st camp. Volkov and Kolesnichenko were saved by a miracle

July 17

Volkov and Kolesnichenko reached the upper camp at 7.400m

July 18,
12:30 p.m.
The group comprised of Andrei Volkov and Victor Kolesnichenko summited Nanga Parbat

July 21

The expedition finished its work. The base camp evacuation was started

July 22

Evacuation postponed because of a bridge construction. The bridge was destroyed due to flooding

July 24-29

Expedition members visited the mountainous region in the area of Mt. Rakaposhi where the Hunza people of Hindu origin live. It is the Karimabad region, autonomous region Kashmir (former Indian territory)

Departure from Gilgit town, autonomous region Kashmir

Expedition members arrived in Islamabad
July 31 - August 1 Registration of documents covering the expedition's completion were filed at the Ministry of Tourism of Pakistan, a serious conflict with the liaison officer arose
